French Ratatouille
From a satisfied customer in Belgium
Dear Jane:
.....I personally use your seasoning on practically everything, from soups to stews, on steaks, french bread (very tasty). I also make a sort of french ratatouille which consists of:
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 medium sized onions
- 4 red tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
Slice everything in thin long strips and fry in olive oil, on medium heat. From time to time add a few teaspoons of water, until tender. Just before taking it off the heat, season rather lavishly with Cavender's Greek Seasoning. This vegetable is low in calories and very tasty with steak or any meat. I also make fish (trout) in a silver wrapping paper, put some olive oil on the silver paper, put a piece of butter inside the fish, with lots of Cavender's Seasoing inside, close paper and put in a hot oven about 15 minutes. I love this with new potatoes with butter and garlic.
