Baked Chicken with Lemon Butter Potatoes
- 1 chicken, 2 1/2 to 3 lbs., cut into desired pieces
- 1 stick butter
- 1 C fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 4 potatoes, medium size
- Dash or two of oregano
- "Cavender's Greek Seasoning"
Melt butter and pour into a bowl. Add lemon juice, garlic powder, and oregano, mixing well. Peel and cut potatoes in half. Dip each piece of chicken into the butter mixture and place in a shallow baking dish. Repeat with potatoes and arrange around the chicken in same baking pan. Sprinkle "Cavender's" seasoning over all and bake in 350 oven for 1 hour, basting often with pan juices, add more lemon juice if needed.
